Greenland Ice Melt

The news from Greenland is very troubling, as the ice melt in 2019 was double the average in the last eighteen years, with researchers describing the loss as "shocking" and likely the worst in centuries. The Guardian reports, in fact, that Greenland lost a million tons of ice per minute. With the Arctic heating at twice the rate of lower latitudes, the reduction in the ice cap is the main cause of the rise in sea level.
